The Year of the Baobab
A tree so unique that it is widely known as the “upside-down tree” because it has few leaves, giving the distinct impression that it has been overturned, with its roots facing skyward.
In other words, the Kremetart Boom!
Or, in Zulu, “Umsenge”—a name that relates to the milking of a cow.
Also known as the “Tree of Life,” the Baobab can live for up to 5,000 years, reach a height of 30 meters, with a truck measuring an enormous 50-meter circumference. The Baobab’s symbol is proudly displayed at our entrance gate.
