Arabian Drag Racing League – Round 3
Under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Racing Club, and with a large audience present and thrilling final races, the third round of the 2025 Arabian Drag Racing League concluded. This round, similar to the previous one, crowned 10 new champions, bringing the total number of titleholders to 33 competitors in the first half of the season, which spans six rounds.
This has further intensified the competition for the season’s championship. This round saw the leaders of the qualifying trials in only three categories successfully continue their journey towards the final race and clinch the third-round title
Pro Bike
In the strongest motorcycle categories, competitor Mishaal Al-Sabr redeemed his loss in the previous round’s final by winning his first-ever title in the championship. He defeated runner-up of the opening round, Ahmed Al-Nakhilan, while the champion of the previous two rounds, Mohammad Al-Owad, settled for third place in this round.
Super Street Bike
Ahmed Bin Bilal also secured his first victory in the championship, this time in the Super Street Bike category, after a thrilling final against Mishari Al-Turki. Al-Turki recorded the same result as in the opening round, finishing second, while Ahmed Al-Mahous claimed third place, marking his first podium finish in the championship.
Street Bike
Meanwhile, Mousa Al-Balushi won his first title of the season after a final race against the leader of the qualifying trials, Mohammad Bourashed, who finished second, mirroring his result in the opening round. Third place went to Ahmed Bin Bilal.
8.50 Index
In the final motorcycle category, the 8.50 Index, a new champion emerged: Mohammad Ali, who defeated the winner of the opening round, Nasser Bu-Ruba’a, who finished second. The third position went to Hussein Ashkanani.
At the conclusion of the competitions, His Excellency Sheikh Jabor bin Khalid Al Thani, Director-General of the Qatar Racing Club, crowned the winners of the top three positions in each category. The event was attended by prominent Qatari and Gulf media outlets, marking the end of the third round of the Arab Drag Racing Championship.
Preparations now begin for the fourth round, scheduled to take place next week, from January 28 to 31.
