Tackle surface changes, conquer forest stages, and master European-style jumps while sharpening your skills.

EVENT OVERVIEW

- Four Event Point Series
- Tons of seat time!

- Joker Lap Element (JE) returns – may be taken on any lap during each heat. Failure to take the JE will result in a DNF.

- Live run time updates will be available through the SpeedHive app when applicable.

EVENT RULES & REGULATIONS
MINIMUM CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFICATIONS
-
- Rally-X experience is not required for the regular circuit.
- Rally-X, Rally Course or Stage Rally experience will be required to compete on our rally stages.
- Driver’s must attend a minimum of three (3) of the four (4) events to qualify for points in the championship.
- Classes must have at least three (3) entries four (4) events in order for the class to qualify for the season championship points and prizes.
- Driver’s may not switch classes to help another class qualify.
- There will be a 10 second penalty for late arrivals.
- Class winners are determined by the lowest cumulative time after all penalties are applied and all runs are completed.
- Points will be awarded to each driver regardless of the number of competitors in their class during an event.
- Prizes will be announced and awarded for winners after each event.
- Cumulative point winners will be announced at the end of the championship series.
EVENT REGULATIONS

- Name/Car/Class MUST be accurate in MSR when registering.

- The FIRM is not liable for any discrepancies.
-
- Competitors must test fit the transponders prior to their first run in order to allow for quick transponder swaps between run groups.
- All vehicles must display their vehicle number at every event.

- Decals must be 8” Tall
- Race number is chosen during online registration by competitor
- Group letter must be displayed on each side of vehicle)
- Background and letter/number must contrast & be clearly visible.
- Painter’s tape will be available on site for those who do not have magnets, decals or number backers.
- Failure to meet regulations may result in incorrect lap times or DNF
- Drivers must provide/install their own numbers/letters prior to Technical Inspection.

- A registered competitor may contest eligibility of a vehicle in their class with the Chief Scrutineer. All decisions are at the Scrutineer’s discretion.
- The FIRM is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
- Name/Car/Class MUST be accurate in MSR when registering.
PENALTIES

- DNF – Did Not Finish – Depends on the course and may not apply.
- 4 Seconds – Knocked down cone or barrel
- 10 Seconds – Missed gate.
- 10 Seconds- Late arrivals.
- Bogey Time– Driver off course (as determined by control) or could not finish their lap will be given a bogey time. This time will be calculated as the slowest lap time (after penalties) +10 seconds.
- *This calculation is subject to review prior to the event and changes will be updated within this blog.

PERSONAL & SAFETY
-
- Helmets: SA2015 or newer for Vehicles and M2015 for Side-by-Side/UTV (Please note beginning in 2026, helmets must be rated SA2020 or newer).
- Attire: Closed-toe shoes are required. It is recommended to wear 100% cotton clothing. Avoid wearing synthetic fabrics when possible. Race suits are always recommended, however not required.
- Drivers: A non-restricted driver’s license for each of the crew listed as driver(s).
- Vehicle Borrowing: When the owner of the vehicle is not entered as the driver or passenger, a written authorization from the owner of the vehicle must be provided at registration.
- Sharing: Only two drivers may “share” the same one vehicle. Each driver is required to pay a separate entry fee.
- Multiple Class Entry: Drivers may enter multiple vehicles for an additional entry fee, with a maximum limit of four vehicles per driver per event. A driver may not enter two vehicles in the same class.
- Passengers: Only one passenger is allowed in the front seat per vehicle at a time. Passengers must adhere to safety requirements. NO passengers are allowed in the rear seats at any time on course, NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Age: Drivers and passengers must be 16 years of age or older.
- Waivers: Everyone on site is required to sign a waiver, regardless of being in a vehicle during competition. Minors require both parent’s signatures, or a notarized note by any non-present parent.
- Vehicle Safety: All vehicles must be equipped with proper working seatbelts in the front seats for all drivers and any front passenger. Seat belts must be worn at ALL times on the course.
- Behavior: There is zero tolerance for any recreational or illegal substance use on site. This will result in automatic disqualification from the series and removal from the facility.
TECHNICAL INSPECTION
-
- All vehicles must go through Technical Inspection prior to competition at every event.
- Pass/Fail: Only vehicles that have passed Technical Inspection may enter the event course.
- Vehicles must meet all requirements. Tech form is available HERE.
- Competitors and their cars MUST be on-site 15 minutes before the close of Tech Inspection in order to be allowed to compete. Late arrivals may be denied entry.
VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS
-
- Loose Items: All loose items in the vehicle must be removed during the event. Snap-on hubcaps, detachable fender skirts and trim rings must be removed.
- Tires: Tires must be in good condition, with no cord or belts showing or cracks in the tread of sidewalls. 5/32” Minimum tire tread.
- Vehicle Condition: Mechanical conditions and safety of the vehicle is the sole responsibility of the Competitor.
- Body Panels: All vehicles must have all doors attached, as well as full roofs, or comply with the current convertible requirements.
- Windscreens: Front windscreens must be void of large visible cracks, specifically any damage possibly blocking the driver’s view.
- Battery: Tie-downs are required.
- Wheel Studs: Must be in place w/ALL lug nuts .
- Roll Cages: Preferred. Vehicles with at least a proper rear cage will be allowed to experience more off-road terrain and forest stages.
- UTVs/Side-By-Side: Full cage and driver/passenger wrist restraints or side nets are required.
- Modifications: Subject to scrutineer approval and scrutineer sole discretion.
- Tow Hook: A minimum of one tow hook is required to be installed on the front or rear of the vehicle. Tow hook MUST be highly visible and painted with a bright color such as yellow or orange etc. We highly recommend installing tow hooks on both the front and rear of the vehicle.
- Damages: The FIRM staff has the right to accept or deny removal of any damaged vehicle off-course at the stewards discretion.
- Liability: The FIRM is not liable to any vehicle damage on or off the course. The FIRM is not liable to any potential damage to a vehicle that has to be safely removed from the course by staff.
- Exclusions: Organizers reserve the right to exclude any vehicle or person from further participation on the event at any time for reasons of perceived safety concerns involving the condition of the vehicle or the conduct of the person.
VEHICLE CLASSIFICATION

- Vehicles will be divided into three main categories which will consist of Stock, Open and Buggies categories. Within these categories, cars will be divided into 2 classes.
- B- Buggies– All Side by side (SxS), utility task vehicles (UTV) will be grouped together. These vehicles have the option to run the full rally-x course including the woods, or the limited course.

- Stock AWD Light – four-wheel drive with naturally aspirated engines.

- Stock Two Wheel Drive: Stock 2WD Class consists of primarily stock vehicles with a two-wheel driveline who do not have the proper required equipment to run the forest stages. The class is split into two sub-classes:

- Stock 2WD Heavy (S2H): two-wheel drive with adjusted displacement over 2650cm3.
- Stock 2WD Light (S2L): two-wheel drive with adjusted displacement equal or less than 2650cm3.

- Open All Wheel Drive: Open AWD Class consists of any modified vehicles with a four-wheel driveline. These vehicles have the proper required equipment to allow them to compete in the woods. These vehicles have at minimum a rear cage (which include a rear roll bar and mainstays), FIA or SFI certified racing seats and 5+ point harnesses. Convertibles, or vehicles without windows, doors and full roofs will not be allowed on the stages with the exception of Side by Sides. The class is split into two sub-classes:

OPEN CLASS SPECIFIC VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS:

- Roll Cages: Minimum of a rear cage is required to run in the woods. You may choose to fabricate or choose your own supplier/installer. We highly recommend having a full proper FIA rally cage. We recommend researching official stage rally sanctions regulations, such as NASA RallySport or American Rally Association, for cage specifications and suggestions if you plan to transition into stage rally. Cage specifications are based on the car weight without the driver.

- UTVs/Side-By-Side: Must have Full Cage AND Driver/Passenger Wrist Restraints OR Side Nets Required
- Seats: Seats must meet the following standards for the driver and passenger: Seats must be of one-piece construction and shall be firmly mounted to the floor of the vehicle in such a manner as to prevent the movement of the seat in case of an accident. Aluminum seats are NOT ALLOWED, NO exceptions. Use of FIA certified/homologated seats is required.
- Safety Belts: Harnesses must be a minimum of 5-point with a suggested quick release latch.
UNIVERSAL SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
- SFI/FIA certified halo race seats
- SFI/FIA certified neck restraint such as HANS or NexGen.

- Each season, new prizes will be announced.
- Individual events will have recognition prizes for each event.
