2021 Nitro RX Prediction
Nitro Rallycross Prediction Competition
It was an anticlimactic ending to last year's season but it's back, now for NRX thanks to a large entry list. With a new format comes slightly different rules.
Selection:
1. Pick 2 DRIVERS and a TEAM who are set to run the full season.
2. These picks must be from the different teams. Ie. DRIVER A must be from team X, DRIVER B from team Y and your (2 car) TEAM pick is team Z.
Template to enter:
Driver A:
Driver B:
Team:
Scoring:
3. You score points based on how many drivers your DRIVERS beat across each race they compete in. It will not be based on time, only on those in their individual races.
Losing Points:
4. You lose 1 point for each place apart your drivers are in Qualifying and the 1st Heat (for this I will compare total race times). So if your TEAM are 2nd and 4th in quali then 3rd and 6th in the heat race you lost 4 points.
Making changes:
5. Each permanent change to your line-up costs you 5 points.
6. Should a driver be replaced you get their replacement.
7. Should a team or driver miss a round you will be assigned a replacement randomly
Joker Round
8. For 1 round you can completely change your line-up assuming it still follows rule 2. It then reverts back after the round. You do not have to joker though it is encouraged.
Late Entries:
9. Anyone can join throughout the season and will be penalised with the lowest scores from each round they missed. You cannot joker if you enter late. You’ll be last but only just.
Expected Entries:
-Bakkerud is currently only set to race in the opening 2 rounds
-OMSE can be seen as 2 different teams, Ford & Honda
-I do not know who will drive which car for OMSE, if this affects anyone I will let those people know
-For those who do not know there is a new format for NRX. There is 1 lap quali, then battle brackets. 2 heats, 2 semis and a LCQ with top 2 of each to the final. 10 car final.
Qualifying is on Friday, get in entries before then.
