Revised 2021 British GT Championship Calendar Released
The 2021 Intelligent Money British GT Championship will now run from May until October to ensure that a full seven-event, nine-race calendar can be completed.
The four 60-minute sprint races split equally between Snetterton and Oulton Park that were due to begin the campaign will now respectively take place on 7/8 August and 11/12 September.
The latter weekend was previously reserved for the second of Donington Park’s two rounds. Instead, the season finale now moves back one month to 16/17 October.
The rest of British GT’s calendar remains unchanged, albeit with Brands Hatch’s 22/23 May weekend now staging 2021’s opening round. The Silverstone 500, first outing at Donington and traditional trip to Spa-Francorchamps one week before the Total 24 Hours of Spa also retain their existing dates.
2021’s revised calendar also avoids clashes with GT World Challenge Europe, the GT2 and GT4 European Series, GT Rebellion Series and British Touring Car Championship.

May 22/23: Brands Hatch GP (1x 2-hour race)
June 26/27: Silverstone 500 (1x 3-hour race)
July 10/11: Donington Park (1x 2-hour race)
July 24/25: Spa-Francorchamps (1x 2-hour race)
August 7/8: Snetterton (2x 1-hour races)
September 11/12: Oulton Park (2x 1-hour races)
October 16/17: Donington Park (1x 2-hour race)
