Stacy Nails Pole For KOHR Aston Squad At Road America
With a stunning lap from Nate Stacy, the #60 KOHR Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage GT4 qualified on pole for the Michelin Pilot Challenge race at Road America. Stacy’s session-best time of 2:16.096 was a full second quicker than the rest of the field.
Second in the GS class was the #339 Carbahn Motorsports Audi R8 GT4, Tyler McQuarrie set a time of 2:17.099.
The #3 Motorsports In Action McLaren 570s GT4 rounded out the top three in the class. Sheena Monk’s best lap was a 2:17.526.
In TCR, the #23 FAST MD Audi RS3 LMS secured the pole position with Max Faulkner setting a time of 2:21.358.
Just 0.002 seconds off pole was the #54 JDC-Miller Motorsports Audi RS3 LMS with Michael Johnson who set a time of 2:21.360.
The #37 LA Honda World Racing Civic TCR ended the session in third. Chris Miller set a time of 2:21.720.
The race is scheduled for later today with the green flag set to drop at 3:45 PM local time (20:45 UTC).
