SRO and Total contribute to public fund for restoration of Notre-Dame Cathedral

The response from around the world to the disastrous fire that swept through Notre Dame cathedral in Paris this week has seen huge amounts donated to the fund established to rebuild and restore the iconic building.



Amongst the corporate bodies that have been first to contribute are Paris-based Total who have pledged a huge 100 million Euro donation.



But its not just the big multi-national companies the are involved in the funding drive, Stephane Ratel and SRO Motorsports Group retain offices in the French Capital, the city where Stephane grew up.
 

SRO Paris have offered a contribution of €50,000 towards the reconstruction of the historic cathedral.
 
Stephane Ratel:

“Like so many others at SRO across the various continents where we operate, I was deeply affected by the fire at Notre-Dame de Paris. In agreement with everyone in the company, I  wanted to do something to be a part of the reconstruction, which is why we have decided to make a donation through SRO Paris.

“While SRO is a global company with its main office located in London, France will always be our second home. Notre-Dame is a building of tremendous significance to Paris and indeed to the entire world. I hope that, through our contribution, we can be a part of a positive restoration.”
