The “It’s Coming Home!” T-shirts are just as great as the rallying cry
The viral phrase was turned into a T-shirt you can wear during the World Cup.
When Eric Dier nailed the clinching penalty kick against Columbia in England’s Round of 16 World Cup match, England fans went bonkers.
And when I mean bonkers, they were celebrating like there was no tomorrow.

It was the first time in 22 years that England had won a shootout and only the second time they’ve won an elimination game on PKs.
So yeah, England fans went bloody crazy. If you watched the match or happened to be in the presence of a Brit at the moment of impact, you probably heard them screaming a now-world famous phrase.
It’s coming home!
It’s the three-word slogan that’s captivated the Internet and taken over the meme world during the World Cup. Its origins date back to 1996 when two comedians wrote a song called Three Lions leading up to the European Championships.
But why has it made a comeback for this year’s World Cup?
It’s pretty simple actually. As our Andi Thomas notes, this year’s England team is “nice” and “surprisingly likable.”
Naturally, the phrase has made its way onto the market and there’s some pretty great options for fans looking to jump on the England bandwagon right now — as well as for long-time fans.
Should England continue its World Cup run into the semifinals, we’ll keep our eyes out for more team merch and apparel.
It’s coming home!
