If Ricciardo was robbed at Monaco 2016 then this was his gift in repayment. Crazy race and I'd go so far as stupid racing from some drivers to cause the various crashes. I feel for Hamilton who should have won that by a big margin. He drove without fault all afternoon and a simple team error with the head restraint drops him behind Vettel. If there had been Virtual Safety cars instead of full safety cars, he'd have had enough lead to maybe finish first but certainly no worse than second. I agree with Coulthard that the full safety car was deliberately used to condense the pack and make closer racing. Don't get me wrong, as a viewer I liked that.
