O’Ward Fast in Traffic, Herta Speedy Solo as ‘Fast Friday’ Looms

INDIANAPOLIS (Thursday, May 16, 2024) – Pato O’Ward led the overall speed chart Thursday during practice for the 108th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, while Colton Herta led the “no-tow” speeds that gain more importance as qualifying approaches. O’Ward was fastest at 228.861 mph in the No. 5 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet, a
