MSD Shift lite 8963 interupt/ reset

Does it matter if the momentary switch i install to reset the MSD 8963 shift lite is normally open or normally closed? I need to be able to reset it prior to the run. Blown Alky BBC with 44 mag , running a grid. Wiring suggestions appreciated.
