[Women's Golf] Four CMU golfers take Daktronics Awards

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Four members of the Central Methodist University women's golf team were recognized by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) for their work in the classroom when they were named 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes recently.
Seniors Jamie Gisburne (Arlington, Texas) and Alexis Hagemeyer (St. Charles, Mo.), along with juniors Kaitlyn Rogers (Carl Junction, Mo.) and Hannah Clark (Kansas City, Kan.), were honored among 174 NAIA women golfers in the United States this year.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
