Finally home from an extended road trip to begin the season, the Athletics begin their Sac era tonight against the -Chicago Cubs.

The team is back in California after splitting the season-opening series with their division rivals. The A’s aren’t in Kansas anymore. The players are settling into their new home ballpark and ready to host 81 games in the heat of Sac Town. The squad will send out right-hander Joey Estes for the start tonight. starting an era for the Athletics that will ultimately lead them to Nevada.
