Luis Medina gets the start in Minnesota

The Oakland Athletics travel to Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul to take on the Minnesota Twins tonight. This meeting at Target Field is the first 2024 matchup between the two teams. The Twins come into tonight with a 36-32 record and occupy third place in the American League Central division. While the A’s currently sit in fifth place in the AL West with a 26-44 record.

Luis Medina will make his third appearance of the season. The 25-year-old righty enters tonight with an 0-1 record and a 5.23 ERA in two previous starts. Medina will be facing 28-year-old Joe Ryan for the Twins. Ryan is 4-5 for the season with a 3.30 ERA in thirteen starts.
