Bhyan claims Gold for India at World Para Athletics Championships
Ekta Bhyan claimed gold in the women's F51 club throw event at the World Para Athletic Championships with a season's best throw of 20.12m. Kashish Lakra secured silver with 14.56m, and Nadjet Boucherf of Algeria took bronze with 12.70m. Ekta, a Haryana Civil Services officer, found success in sports despite a tragic accident in 2003, which left her wheelchair-bound.
