UAlbany athletics raising awareness for Great Danes rescued from Dutchess County home

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- UAlbany athletics is raising awareness for the 22 Great Danes that were rescued in Dutchess County. It's being dubbed "Danes helping Danes."
The school's coaching staff and athletes are urging their supporters to donate to the multiple organizations that are taking care of the Great Danes recovered from the Milan home. The animals were rescued after their owner died.
According to authorities, the Great Danes ranged from puppies to two years old and were said to be undernourished and confined to poor conditions.
