50 years ago this year, Bruce Springsteen released his debut album, the famous western “Bonanza” finished after 440 episodes, Russia began a radio controlled exploration of the moon, George Foreman beat Joe Frazier to win the WBC and WBA heavyweight titles and the Vietnam War ended.
In the same year Pink Floyd released “Dark Side of the Moon”, which stayed in the US billboard top 200 for 14 years! That’s some achievement ….
But not as big an achievement as the 50 Years that Dave McComb has spent with our club.
