Talladega, AL -Jeremiah "Rudy" Roediger was named the Talladega head men's and women's soccer coach on Tuesday, March 1 by Director of Athletics, Kevin Herod. Roediger arrived on Battle Street with 21 years of coaching and scouting experience, including 11 years in the NAIA, NCAA Division I, NCAA DIII, and NJCAA where he has built a reputation of transforming programs into conference and national contenders. Roediger's previous teams have set or tied 72 program records while playing in some of the strongest conferences in the nation. His collegiate student-athletes have accumulated 118 athletic honors on the pitch and 100 academic honors. Additionally, Roediger mentored players who have represented their countries 72 times in various competitions, including both World Cup Qualifying and Olympic Qualifying.
