[Men's Soccer] Several Changes to Soccer Schedule as of August 31
In a season that seems to be ever evolving, the Williamson soccer schedule is one of those things. Due to several changes that have occurred over the past few days, the schedule that was released in the beginning of August looks dramatically different than the one the team is now looking at as of August 31.
"It has been difficult and frustrating but if it allows us to play as many games as we can then it is all worth it," shared Williamson director of athletics Dale Plummer. "In my 33 years as the athletic director here, I've never experienced anything like it."
In summary, the changes are as follows:
-The two games scheduled with Central Penn have now flopped sites. Williamson will now host Central Penn on Friday, September 24 at 4:00 P.M., while traveling to their place on Thursday, October 21 for a 3:30 P.M. start
-The Patrick Henry home game originally schedule for Friday, September 17 has been moved to a home game on Friday, October 22 at 4:30 P.M. That game will now be the team's Senior Day.
-An additional home game with Manor College was added for Thursday, October 14 at 6:30 P.M.
"I'm hoping that is all the changes we will experience. The best advice I can give people is to check our website and schedule before coming to a game. We will post any changes there as soon as we know of them," closed Plummer
The Mechanics open their 2021 campaign on Wednesday night, September 8 at 6:30 P.M. against Delaware County Community College.
