Trade Possibilities
- I see Philly's RFer went down. They have a surplus SS that they no longer need. Hits RHP & LHP! SS Jean Segura. Piscotty's salaries & trade values are close enough to do this.
- Met's meltdown is hard to believe, especially the OF. If A's pay down Piscotty's salary the Mets probaly take his to allow the hamstrings & Pillar's nasal fractures to heal. The A's would free up a roster spot.
13-MAN POITIONAL STRENGTH
- RF Brown-l / Piscotty /Ramon (Barrera-l returned to AAA.
- CF Ramon / Canha / (Barrera-l returned to AAA.
- LF Pinder / Brown-l / Canha / Kemp-l
- SS Chapman / Andrus I believe this provides the best Infield results. Both Boras clients.
- 3B Chapman / Pinder A nice fit! Chapman platooning at both SS & 3B is stealthily effective.
- 2B Lowrie-s / Kemp-l / Pinder
- 1B Olson-l / Moreland-l is back
- CA Murphy / Garcia
- DH Game Time Mix & Match of the above players.
- Andrus: Decreased playing time. This allows prospects to develop without rushing. No reason to over-react & trade good future prospect(s) to persuade a team to take Elvis' $8 mil contract.
- Trade Piscotty. His $7.6 Salary Is too high For A RF Platoon Vs LHP. A's have 5 OF Prospects Knocking At The MLB Door!
2022 FREE AGENTS
- Canha $6.9 Currently our best hitter.
- Fiers $3.5 Debuts of Cole Irvin & Kaprieian are very encouraging so far.
- Rosenthal ($11) $3.5 paid annually over 3 years. I'd like to see him re-sign to play those 2 additional years.
- Moreland $2.25 AS 1B Glove To Give Olson Time Off. Most outs are at 1B.
- Romo $2.5
- Petit $2.5
- Lowrie $1.5 Buying time for middle infield prospects to develop.
