grant expansion franchises to:
- Vancouver
- Charlotte
- Nashville
- Austin
- Oklahoma City
- New Orleans
relocate:
- Athletics from Oakland (California doesn't need 5 teams) to Salt Lake City
re-name:
- San Francisco Giants (belongs to New York's senior NFL franchise) to Carnivores
- Houston Astros (no longer play in Astrodome or on Astroturf) back to Colt .45s (original name of franchise during first 3 MLB seasons from 1962 thru 1964)
realign into 6 independent geographically-correct divisions x 6 teams each:

contract regular season schedule to only 148 games per team, including:
- 2 (1 home + 1 road) 4-game series' per regular season vs. each of other 5 teams in same division = 40 games +
- 2 (1 home + 1 road) 3-game series' vs. each of 6 teams in 1 other division per regular season = 36 games +
- one 3-game series per regular season vs. each of other 24 teams in other 4 divisions = 72 games, including 36 home + 36 road.
expand postseason to 16 teams, including 6 division winners seeded 1 thru 6, + 10 wild cards. Use tiebreaker system to eliminate 17th contender if necessary. Expand all playoff series' during all playoff rounds to best-5-of-9, including 3-4-2 format.
