Panjab University crowned champion as Khelo India University Games conclude

The Khelo India University Games 2020 concluded here on Sunday with an impressive closing ceremony, but not before the Panjab University (PU) pipped the Savitribai Phule University (SPU), Pune, with a last-gasp effort to be crowned champions of the inauguration edition.Trailing by just one gold on the penultimate day, PU snatched the last two golds in boxing to topple SPU, which could only manage one athletics gold on the final day.The two dominant universities ended up with 17 golds each.
