[SAU Bees] St. Ambrose finishes 36th in Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings

2018-19 NAIA Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings

St. Ambrose finished in 36th place among all NAIA schools in the final Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings as released by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).

The Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between NACDA and USA Today to measure overall collegiate athletic success. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NAIA Championships.

St. Ambrose finished with 398.50 total points to finish 36th overall.

The Bees earned most of their points in the winter. With its National runner-up finish, the SAU competitive dance team earned 90 points. The third-place competitive cheer squad brought in 85 points. In their second year as varsity intercollegiate programs, the men's and women's swimming & diving teams each grabbed 48 points with their identical 14th-place national showings. The men's indoor track & field team earned 40 points.

In the fall, the women's cross country team piled up 52 points with its 22nd place effort.

To close the year, the men's and women's outdoor track & field teams posted 35.5 total points.

Oklahoma City captured the Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup with 921.25 points. William Carey (806) and Lindsey Wilson (782.50) finished second and third, respectively. Olivet Nazarene was the top CCAC finisher, earning 14th place with 582.25 points.
