[Wrestling] Leon named NAIA Wrestler of the Week

Kansas City, MO – Two days after being named the MSC wrestler of the week, UC men's wrestler Tres Leon added another accolade to his resume as he has been named the NAIA Wrestler of the Week for the first time in his Patriot career, national officials announced Wednesday. Leon posted a 3-2 record at the Midlands Classic hosted by Northwestern University.

Leon, the top-ranked NAIA wrestler in the 149 lbs. class, was the lone NAIA wrestler in the field and started by defeating Nolan Baker an unattached wrestler from Northern Illinois by an 18-1 tech fall.
