LAKE WALES, Fla. – Warner University President Dr. David Hoag and Athletic Director John Dunlap name Kirk Talley 2019 Warner University Head Football Coach. Talley is the current Defensive Coordinator for the Royals.

With current head coach Rod Shafer announcing his retirement early last week, Warner University names Kirk Talley head coach following the 2018 season. Coach Talley said "It is a blessing to take over a program and to have learned from coach Shafer these last two seasons. Because Shafer has been a head coach so long, he is great to remind me of the fundamentals of football and the fundamentals of being a head coach."
