[Men's Basketball] Ancilla men's basketball makes history, ranked number one in Division II poll

History was made this afternoon when the Ancilla College men's basketball team achieved the number one ranking in the NJCAA Division II men's basketball poll. The top ranking is the first time any Chargers team has been ranked number one in school history. Ancilla is 20-1 overall and 10-0 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They are riding a 11 game winning streak. Ancilla had been ranked second the last three week but losses by number one Cuyahoga (OH) Community College and number three Parkland (IL) College vaulted the Chargers into the top spot. Ancilla beat Lake Michigan College and Muskegon Community College last week to lock in the number one rankings. They will return to the hardwood on Wednesday night when complete their three game road swing at Kellogg Community College.
