[Women's Basketball] Bryan Holds First Place in AAC with 69-41 Win over Point
DAYTON, TN: Point University (16-7; 13-5 AAC), which received votes for the current NAIA Division II National Coaches' Top 25, fell into fourth place in the Appalachian Athletics Conference women's basketball standings with a 69-41 loss at first-place Bryan College (18-5; 15-2 AAC), Tuesday, Jan. 30, in Dayton, Tenn. Bryan made 11 more field goals than Point, 27-16, and hit 13 three-pointers while Point made just three.
Bryan, which ranks number 24 in the NAIA Division II National Coaches' poll, made avenged an earlier 70-66 loss at Point on Nov. 30, and won its ninth consecutive game. Point has won 14 of its last 18 games.
