Agincourt – Handicap Trophy Shoot
Sunday, 5th of October, is Guildford Archery Club’s Agincourt Shoot.
The final trophy shoot of the 2025 outdoor season.
The Agincourt is always a super-friendly shoot, and there will be lots of support and advice on hand for newer archers, so come and give it a go!
This is open to ALL members of the club regardless of age, experience or bow type. It’s a handicapped shoot, so everyone is in with a chance of getting their name on one of the 4 magnificent pewter trophies. You can check them out in the club house trophy cabinet, and there’s one each for Senior Lady and Gent and Junior Boy and Girl.
Agincourt rounds for all
The main rounds are:
• Albion (3 dozen each at 80, 60 and 50 yards)
• Windsors (3 dozen starting distances between 60 and 30 yards)
There are an assortment of Windsor rounds at distances to suit everyone starting at 60 yards down to 30 yards. So you can pick a round that is a challenge for you, but still fun!
When and for how long
We assemble at 9:30am for sighters at 10:00am and should be finished by 2:00 – 3:00pm.
It would be great to have a good turnout and see the outdoor season out in style, so please come along. If you don’t fancy shooting come along and support the club archers and see what the club competitions are about. It would be good to get an idea of numbers, so please add your name to the SignUp Genius, and indicate in the notes which round you wish to shoot.
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask
