Online scoring workshop – Saturday, 27 June

The WBSC Scoring Commission is inviting all of its baseball, softball and Baseball5 scorers to an online workshop where the latest scoring practices and training will be reviewed. After the first successful edition of the workshop that allowed hundreds of scorers to talk and discuss about key plays in baseball and softball games, the WBSC Scoring Commission is inviting all to a second gathering.

The workshop has the purpose to allow scorers around the world to meet and discuss about the sport they love and the role they have to play in it.

The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, 27 June:

• at 12:00 Swiss Time (CEST, GMT+2, UTC+2) for Africa, Asia and Oceania
• at 18:00 Swiss Time (CEST, GMT+2, UTC+2) for Europe and Americas

Numbers for the workshop will be limited so scorers willing to participate need to register first by Thursday 25 June 2020, filling the online form (THIS LINK FOR Africa, Asia and Oceania; THIS LINK FOR Europe and Americas). After having reached the maximum number of participants, registrations will be closed.

When you register, please indicate clearly your name, last name and e-mail address; the same will be used to grant access to the meeting on Saturday.

Each registered scorer will receive more details about the workshop via e-mail.

The Workshop will be conducted using the Zoom app.

Please also note that:

• the meeting will be only in English
• the event will be recorded
• we suggest you have a headset with earplugs and microphone to better follow the meeting
