White Oak duo shines as White Oak rallies for second-round basketball win

White Oak’s combination of Joaliel Caraballo and Zarion Hobbs proved too strong for East Chapel Hill on Thursday night. The junior duo combined for 47 points as the sixth-seeded Vikings rallied for a 71-64 win over the No. 22 Wildcats in the second round of the NCHSAA 6-A boys’ basketball playoffs.
