Why Clemson basketball players are wearing No. 41 patch on jerseys this season

CLEMSON — Clemson basketball added a black and white No. 41 patch to its jerseys this season. The Tigers did this to honor former basketball star Elden Campbell, Clemson's all-time leading scorer who wore No. 41. He died on Dec. 1 after he had a medical emergency while fishing in Florida and drowned. He was 57.
