Van loon joins Den Bosch as Hoofdklasse returns
On the eve of the Hoofdklasse’s return from its winter break, HC ’s-Hertogenbosch have made an eye-catching signing for next season with Isis van Loon set to join from HGC.
The striker is a Junior World Cup winner and has played for the Dutch women’s side on a couple of occasions in the Pro League.
It comes ahead of their big date with AH&BC Amsterdam on Sunday afternoon at 12.45 CET in the Wagener Stadium.
Den Bosch finished the first half of the season in fourth place on 23 points, one point back from third place Amsterdam.
Both will be looking to make sure they do not lose further ground on table-toppers SCHC who have 32 to their name. SCHC host fifth place Pinoké at the same time.
You can follow the games on The Switch which is available in the Netherlands on Viaplay and on Youtube outside of the Netherlands.
There are also a number of big ties on the men’s agenda, not least the repeat of last year’s championship final between sixth place Amsterdam and seventh place SV Kampong at 15.00 CET at the Wagener Stadium.
Bloemendaal (fourth) face Rotterdam (third) in the other topper on the agenda; leaders Oranje-Rood face HDM while second placed Pinoké host Schaerweijde.
