0 4

The Belgian men’s goalkeeper merry-go-round is in full swing with the news Romain Henet will leave Royal Léopold for Racing Club de Bruxelles next season.

Henet has been part of the Léo side for 15 seasons, winning a Belgian championship, five national indoor titles, a EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup title along with an EHL bronze medal in 2021.

He made his EHL debut in 2013’s KO16 against Rot-Weiss Köln and played in 23 games in the competition.

Henet will take on the goalkeeping duties vacated by Boris Feldheim at Racing while there are further moves also in place.

It has been confirmed Loic Van Doren will leave KHC Dragons next season with French international Corentin Saunier coming in between the posts.

He arrives in Brasschaat along with Spanish stars Marc Recasens from Rotterdam and Pau Cunill from Atlètic Terrassa.

The post Henet set to leave Léo after 15 years first appeared on EHL.
