ABN AMRO EHL Hockey ID lights up Den Bosch
The wonderful ABN AMRO EHL Hockey ID tournament brought together eight teams from six different countries, playing 16 high octane matches at HC ’s-Hertogenboch last Sunday.
KHC Dragons won the overall competition, impressing through the group phase before winning a thrilling final against Germany’s Moers 10-5.
Every participant was also able to take in the adulation of the crowd with a parade around the main stadium pitch during the women’s FINAL4 match between Den Bosch and Gantoise.
The competition was superbly run by tournament directors Lieke van Otten and Marcel Balkestein and was all made possible with the generous support from ABN AMRO.
It also provided an excellent learning environment for the Love is All project – a joint initiative between the EuroHockey Institute, the FIH Academy and led by Czech Hockey – who are developing educational tools for Hockey ID officials.
