2024 EHL men’s winning coach to join 2024 EHL Women’s winners

Last season’s EHL winning coaches are on the move around the Amsterdamse Bos with Jesse Mahieu set to take over from Teun de Nooijer next season.

Mahieu announced before Christmas he would be stepping back from the coaching role with Pinoké’s men after a lengthy spell in which they rose from relegation playoffs to national champions and 2024 EHL winners.

He will now take over from De Nooijer who will depart from AH&BC Amsterdam’s women with whom he earned a unique place in EHL history, winning the competition as both a player and coach.

As for Mahieu’s arrival at club he previously player for, AHBC top hockey’s Dennis Dijkstra said: “With his knowledge, experience and the bond he already has with the club, we have every confidence that he can take Dames 1 to a higher level.”
