Five-star Junior storm into EHL Women’s FINAL4
Junior FC produced a five-star performance to defeat Loreto and reach the FINAL4 for the second time thanks to a 5-0 success.
Vicky Granatto opened the scoring in the second quarter with a beautiful individual run through the circle to then slip the ball past Liz Murphy.
It had been a close-fought game in the first half but Junior showed their greater experience on this stage in the second half with a dominant performance.
Laura Bosch forced home the second in the 34th minute after another brilliant run from Granatto, this time along the right sideline.
Maria Gesti took on the next one, ghosting down the left wing and then slipping the ball home from close to the baseline.
Bosch whacked in the fourth before the end of the third quarter with a backhand shot before Granatto crowned her personal performance with another reverse-stick effort.
