Show off your skills at EuroHockey Freestyle

EuroHockey Freestyle hits the ABN AMRO kids’ court this weekend at the Euro Hockey League FINAL8, giving you the chance to show off your skills, creativity and passion for the game.

The task? Produce your party tricks; your finest stick-handling; the fancy footwork! The stage is yours to shine… and potentially land a customised Osaka stick and the admiration of the hockey community!

What is EuroHockey Freestyle?

  • The competition features five sessions over the EHL weekend; each session crowns a winner
  • Each session winner advances to the ultimate showdown on Monday, April 1st
  • Your skills will be judged by an all-star panel featuring international legends with an eye for beautiful moves
  • It is open to all EHL attendees, regardless of age. Participants under the age of 18 must provide parental consent to compete (see below for more detail).

How to Register:

Registration: You can register at the EuroHockey lounge in the fan village before the start of each session or online by clicking here.

Materials: Sticks and balls will be provided for those who don’t have their own.

Session procedure: Once registered, the candidate has 10 minutes to warm up. Then at the START, each participant must demonstrate the full range of his or her talents. After one minute, the jury will gradually eliminate participants until only one is left on the field. Each session will last a maximum of 15 minutes.

Grand Final Champion: The ultimate champion of the grand final on Monday 1st April will be awarded a prestigious title, a voucher for a customised Osaka stick, along with the admiration of the hockey community.
