Unbeaten three-division champ and ambitious challenger to “Monster” Naoya Inoue, Junto Nakatani (32-0, 24 KOs) demonstrated a public workout today (Thursday) at MT gym in Sagamihara city, Kanagawa prefecture. Nakatani looked in very good shape to impress some one hundred press people there. Inoue’s handlers—manager Hideyuki Ohashi, father and trainer Shingo Inoue and three coaches—appeared at the gym to watch Nakatani’s open training. Impressed by his performance, Ohashi said, “Nakatani keeps his composure. He isn’t nervous and looks confident.” The challenger said, “I’m in very good shape, and wish to show my best performance in the most important fight in my career.” The 5’8” southpaw Junto is three inches taller than Monster Naoya and five years younger than the 33-year-old champion. The Super Fight is coming soon.
