With the “Mallorca Fight Night” on May 1st at the Pueblo Español, AGON Sports is making a bold statement: Never before has such a high-caliber fight card been presented on the Balearic island. Center stage are two major WBA title bouts: Local hero Samuel Carmona (13-1, 5 KOs) faces the experienced Venezuelan Rodrigo Ramirez (21-2-2, 13 KOs) in the flyweight division, aiming to use a victory in front of his home crowd to firmly position himself among the world’s elite. Additionally, in the heavyweight division, the “Cuban Hulk” Carlos Castillo Rodriguez (10-0, 6 KOs) steps into the ring against the Argentine Jonathan Exequiel Vergara (9-3, 5 KOs). For Castillo, the fight is for the WBA Fedelatin title—and represents the next crucial step in his young yet highly promising career.

Another sporting highlight is the appearance of AGON’s two-time Olympic champion Arlen Lopez (6-0, 2 KOs), who will face the Argentine Leonel Eduardo Avila (12-4, 4 KOs) in a ten-round super middleweight bout. This exceptional Cuban boxer ranks among the biggest names in international amateur boxing, and his participation underscores the extraordinary quality of this event.

Beyond that, the fight card is packed with promising matchups and formidable AGON fighters: Cuban talent Saidel Horta (1-0) will take on the hard-hitting Venezuelan Fernando Toro (11-3, 9 KOs) in the lightweight division. Meanwhile, Alejandro Claro (1-0) steps into the ring in the flyweight division against the experienced Colombian Edinson Martinez (15-7-3, 12 KOs).

Representing Germany on the card is, among others, Malek Semmo (4-0, 3 KOs), who will compete in the middleweight division against Kassimou Mouhamadou (11-8, 4 KOs). Also in action is Assan Hansen (3-0), who will face Frenchman Faysal Benatallah (3-3) in the super lightweight division.
