Results From Ohkay, NM: Nez Wins Lopsided Decision, Improves To 7-0

Against a scrappy and tough as nails Texan named Ephraim Martinez, undefeated Rolyn “Sonny” Nez emerged victorious by way of a lopsided four round decision. Nez cut Martinez in the opening round and nearly had Martinez out on the ropes. Nez pounded Martinez over the course of four rounds and won every minute of every round. With the win Nez improves to 7-0, 4 KOs while Martinez falls to 6-3, 2 KOs.
Rounding off the card a pair of undefeated young prospects looked solid en route to decision wins as Eduardo Pinon defeated Quintin DeLeon by way of 4-round unanimous decision. Pinon’s record now stands at 3-0, 2 KOs. Cruiserweight Aiseah Achesah also won a four-round decision, winning a decision over Hobbs, New Mexico’s Yhorhighness Rezzaq and improving his record to 3-0, 1 KO. And in the main event, veteran Antonio Martinez won a unanimous decision over six rounds against journeyman Raymond Chacon and improved his record to 12-5-4, 6 KOs.
