Known for its fan-pleasing, competitive, and action-packed fights, ProBox TV (IG – @proboxtvofficial, #proboxtv), in association with Lamont Roach, Sr.’s NoXcuse Promotions (IG – @teamnoxcuse, #noxcusepromotions), returns to The HALL at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland (IG – @thehallatlive; 7002 Arundel Mills Circle # 7777, Hanover, MD 21076-1280) for another spectacular night of professional boxing on Friday, May 1, 6pm.

Featuring world-class level competitors in its Contender’s Series and some of the sports rising young stars in its Future Star Series, the Main Event and co-Main Event will showcase a pair of boxers from the talent-rich DMV area.

Originally from Barbados and now fighting out of Largo, MD, Cobia “Soldier” Breedy (18-1, KOs; IG – @cobiasoldierbreedy) will face undefeated Mongolian Tsendbaatar Erdenebat (14-0, 6 KOs) of Paramount, CA in the 10-round Main Event, which is expected to draw fireworks. A former soldier in the Barbados Army, Breedy has won his last three bouts including beating Dexter Marques on a card held in his home country last October. Erdeneba, a 2016 Olympic competitor and gold medalist at the 2018 Asian Games, has fought in the US since 2023, defeating Abraham Montoya in his last bout held November 21, 2025, in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Undefeated super featherweight Francois “Frankie The Franchise” Scarboro, Jr., (13-0, 9 KOs; IG – @francoisscarborojr) of Cheverly, MD, steps up to the 10-round co-Main Event where he will take on Maxwel Montes (13-4, 7 KOs) of Managua, Nicaragua. Scarboro, who earned a tough, 10-round unanimous decision in a slugfest over veteran Brandon Valdes at the HALL on January 30, 2026, is looking to continue improving in his second ten-round contest. Meanwhile, Montes defeated Luis Tzuc in Miami last February for his 13th pro win.

Highly regarded welterweight Ben Johnson, 20, (7-0, 7 KOs; @officialbenjohnson) and flyweight Jordan “Iceman” Roach, 22, (7-0, 2 KOs; IG – @jordanjroach), two top national prospects who are NoXcuse teammates, will return in six-round contests, seeking their eighth respective wins against opponents hailing from Nicaragua. Johnson will face Lesther Epino (10-8, 8 KOs), while Roach’s opponent is Homan Matamoros (2-1). In their last bouts, held at The Hall earlier this year, Roach shutout Juan Hinostroza by unanimous decision while Johnson stopped Mario Meze via third-round TKO.

Power-punching Washington, DC welterweight David “The Body Snatcher” Whitmire, 20, (11-0, 7 KOs; IG – @202_dave) returns for an eight-round bout against Jose Luis Sanchez (14-6-2, 4 KOs) of Albuquerque, NM. Whitmire, stepping up to his first eight-rounder, dispatched Jarrod Tennant by third-round TKO last January at The HALL.

In other action, highly regarded, five-time national champion Ramon Ordonez of Newark, NJ will make his pro debut against Carlos Davilla Villalobos (1-1) of Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico in a four-round super featherweight contest. Super lightweight Charles Harris, Jr. (11-1, 7 KOs) of Rialto, CA and Blake Fialka of Schererville, IN (2-2-1, 1 KO) will tangle in a six-round bout.

Returning to the DMV for the first time in two years is undefeated bantamweight Rianna Rios (10-0, 2 KOs; IG – @RiannaRios), a 12x national amateur champion, two-time Olympic trialist and former Sergeant assigned to the US Army’s World Class Athlete Program. Formerly from Maryland now fighting out of San Antonio, TX, she is set to face Luz Elena Aguilar Ventura (9-11-2, 2 KOs) of Oaxaca, Mexico, in a six-round bantamweight tilt. Rios, also in the NoXcuse camp, stopped Wendellin Cruz by third-round TKO in her last bout held June 7, 2025, in San Antonio.

After scoring his 13th victory last fall, popular Northern Virginia super light Eric “El Torito” Hernandez (13-2, 6 KOs) of Ashburn returns for his third fight at the Maryland Casino (six-rounds, opponent TBD). In his last bout, he defeated Helton Lara via fourth-round TKO in Washington, DC on September 5, 2025.

Jay Stancill, III, an undefeated Washington, DC featherweight prospect who beat Brandon Badillio on February 28, 2026, in Baltimore in his last fight, will compete in a 4-rounder (opponent TBD).
