The all-female show at the Salle Wagram in Paris on April 23 has been cancelled, reports L’Équipe.
The reason is that Algerian Olympic gold medalist (2024) Imane Khelif has suffered a shoulder injury.
Promoter Brahim Asloum subsequently called off the show, which was set to be headlined by another Olympic gold medalist, Estelle Mossely, in her second fight of the month. Mossely (12-0-1) was scheduled to face Argentina’s Karen Elizabeth Carabajal (25-3).
In the third fight on the bill, super welterweight Marine Beauchamp (8-2-1) was set to take on Spain’s Patricia Martin Cabrera (3-3).
