Undefeated Texan Breyon Gorham, 141, made a statement as he dominated Brazilian Eduardo Costa, 140, en route to a fifth round TKO. Gorham dropped Costa at 2:30 of the opening round with a solid right hand and continued to trouble Costa with the right from that point forward. Gorham showed poise beyond his years as he methodically broke down Costa over the next four rounds. Although Costa did land a few rights of his own in round three, he never was able to goad Gorham into losing his poise and by round five Gorhman was starting to tee off on the Brazilian. A solid left hook in the second round of found five prompted the referee to wave the fight off at 1:51. With the stoppage Gorham sees his record now stand at 22-0, 17 KOs. Costa falls to 12-6, 5 KOs.

If there was a knock on undefeated bantamweight prospect Mikie Tallon, it was that he lacked punching power.

Well, apparently Tallon heard the critics and in the words of Michael Jordan, he took that personally.

Tallon scored a impressive first round knockout over former Olympian Leandro Jose Blanc. A left hook to the body sent Blanc down for the count at 2:53. Tallon improves to 13-0, 3 KOs while Blanca’s record falls to 8-5, 3 KOs.

In a battle of undefeated super middleweights, Polish born pressure fighter Pawel August, 170.7, scored the biggest win of his career with a unanimous six round decision over Germany’s Simon Zachenhuber, 169.6. Both men had a fair bit of experience and the bout would have been a ten round co-main event on most boxing shows. But with such a stacked card this fight was relegated to a six rounder. August, who came in as a late sub for Troy Williamson, took advantage of his opportunity and effectively out hustled and outworked his opponent. The fight, which was judged by the referee, ended with a score of 58-56 for August, who improves to 18-0, 7 KOs. Zachenhuber, a former WBA and IBF European champion, falls to 28-1, 17 KOs. In the post fight interview August recognized that the fight was close and indicated that he was open to a rematch over twelve rounds, something that most fans would certainly be open to.

Middleweight Felix Cash stepped into the ring for the fist time since suffering his first defeat back in June of 2024 and scored a solid stoppage over gritty Liam O’Hare at 0:22 of round two. Both fighters weighed in at 162.25 but it was clear that Cash had the heavier hands when he dropped O’Hare twice with right hands midway through the opening round. But O’Hare, to his credit, refused to take the easy way out and in fact had Cash hurt in the final seconds of the opening round. A solid left from O’Hare bucked the knees of Cash and clearly rattled the 33-year old. Both men decided to come out swinging in round two and it was Cash who landed first, clipping O’Hare with another right cross that sent his opponent to the canvas for the third time. O’Hare was up quickly and seemed eager to continue but the fight was nonetheless waved off. Cash’s record now stands at 17-1, 12 KOs while O’Hare falls to 13-3, 4 KOs.

Undefeated 18-year old Sultan Almohammad, 131.25, of Saudi Arabia improved to 3-0, 2 KOs after stopping Mexico’s Hector Avila Lozano, 130.25, at 2:46 of round three. There were no knockdowns but Lozano was starting to take some solid right hands at the time of the stoppage. Lozano’s record slips to 3-8-1, 3 KOs.

Undefeated welterweight Elliot Whale , 149.25, dominated the normally durable Tom “One Bomb” Hill, 148.5, before scoring a stoppage at 2:39 of round four. Whale was in complete control at the time of the stoppage but Hill wasn’t seriously hurt and was still throwing punches at the time of the stoppage. It was only the second time Hill was stopped as a professional.
With the win Whale improves to 14-0, 9 KOs. Hill drops to 12-5, 3 KOs.
