Zuffa Boxing 05 Prelims Announced

Zuffa Boxing today announced the preliminary card for ZUFFA BOXING 05: CORTES VS. GARCIA, streaming live on Paramount+ on Sunday, April 5 at Meta APEX in Las Vegas. The five-fight undercard will stream live at 6pm ET/3pm PT ahead of the three-fight main card beginning at 9pm ET/6pm PT, exclusively on Paramount+.

The preliminary card features two undefeated matchups, including a clash between rising featherweights Alexis De la Cerda and Ervin Fuller III, as well as a battle of unbeaten lightweights in Robert Meriwether III and Tony Hirsch Jr. Across five bouts, the undercard showcases several returning Zuffa Boxing prospects and competitive matchups. The undercard sets the stage for an action-packed night leading into the main card on Paramount+.

As previously announced, Las Vegas native Andres Cortes (24-0, 13 KOs) takes on Eridson Garcia (23-1, 14 KOs) of the Dominican Republic in the 10-round lightweight main event. In the co-main event, former world champion Mark Magsayo (28-2, 18 KOs) of the Philippines will square off against Feargal McCrory (17-1, 9 KOs) of Ireland in a 10-round lightweight contest while Armenian power puncher Azat “Crazy A” Hovhannisyan (22-6, 17 KOs) will face Mexican veteran Eduardo Baez (25-7-2, 10 KOs) in a 10-round featherweight bout.
