EBU Purse Bids

It was a busy day today at the EBU headquarters in Rome with seven purse bids scheduled and here is how it went:
EBU male title
Middleweight: French EuroProm were the sole bidder for the all French matchup between the champion Bilal Jkitou (21-2) and former world title challenger and EBU champ Michel Soro (38-4-2). EuroProm bid 21 000 euro.

Super welter: Vacant title: Belgian O1 Sports Scomm won with an offer for 51 690 euro for the fight between Belgian Anas Messaoudi (18-0-1) and Spaniard Aaron Alhambra (18-2).
The fight will go ahead June 20 in Brussels.
Spanish JHM Promotions bid13 113 euro.

Super bantamweight: Vacant title: Boxe Italia won bids for the all Italian matchup between Alessio Lorusso (31-5-2) and Francesco De Rosa (12-0) with an offer for 40 000 euro.
New Boxe SSD finished second best with an offer for 38 000 euro.

EBU Male Silver title
Heavyweight: The purse bids were postponed until March 31 to give the parties more time to reach an agreement. The title is vacant and the co-challengers are Frenchman Mattar Garcia (9-0) and Pole Piotr Lacz (15-0-1).
Super bantamweight: vacant title: Younus Boxing Club Bordeaux were the sole bidders for the all French matchup between Abderrahmane Cherragi (8-6-2) and Abdourahmane Ndiaye (10-0).
Younus bid 14 010 euro.

EBU Female title.
Super flyweight: vacant title: Elise Papa (6-0-1), Italy vs Lauryne Brankaer (8-0-2), France – no bids received and the EBU will give the parties involved another chance March 31.
Flyweight: Again, no bids received for champ Jasmina Zapotoczna’s mandatory defence against official challenger Nina Radovanovic (20-4), Serbia, and Radovanovic was removed as official challenger.
Zapotoczna (10-1) will now face the highest available challenger.
