AGON Sports Signs Spanish Olympian Samuel Carmona

AGON Sports continues its international expansion and secures the services of another top-class boxer: Spanish flyweight top fighter Samuel Carmona (13-1-0) has signed a contract with the Berlin-based promoter.

The 29-year-old is one of the most technically skilled boxers in Europe and boasts an impressive resume: Carmona participated in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, won bronze at the European Championships, and has already fought for the WBC World Championship. The EBU Silver Champion is currently ranked in the WBA’s top 10 and is considered a serious contender for a title fight soon.

With over 240 amateur fights, the Spaniard possesses enormous experience and excellent ring intelligence, making him a dangerous opponent at the top of the world rankings. Julio Cesar Martinez already experienced this in 2022 when he narrowly defeated the Spaniard in a WBC world title fight in front of a home crowd.
