Duquesne Vs Apochi For NABF Cruiserweight Title In Houston This Friday
Bobby Harrison’s BiYu Promotions will put on “Ascension Series 1” this Friday at the BiYu Arena in Houston. Headlining the event will a battle for the vacant NABF cruiserweight title between undefeated Cuban Dariel Duquesne and Houston-based Nigerian Efetobor Apochi. The 14-0, 11 KOs Duquesne resides in Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila de Zaragoza, Mexico, but has fought seven of his last eight bouts in Texas. For his part, Apochi has battled his way across the USA- from Texas to Florida, California, Minnesota and Nevada. He boasts a 13-3, 13 KOs record, having never been stopped himself. There’s a good chance someone’s going to sleep early this Friday!
Rounding out the card are seven more bouts featuring: undefeated light heavyweight Chavon Davis Stillwell (8-0, 6 KOs), undefeated super featherweight Christopher Gonzalez (8-0-1, 4 KOs), undefeated welterweight Jason Moreno, (5-0, 4 KOs), and undefeated welterweight Joshua Franco (2-0, 2 KOs) in separate bouts.
