ABC To Oversee UFC White House Show In June 14

On Sunday, June 14, the UFC will hold the first professional sporting event in history inside the U.S. presidential residence known as the White House.

However, the event will take place on federal land and will be officially sanctioned, licensed, and permitted by the Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC).

This was confirmed by ABC President Timothy Shipman, who stated that the ABC will oversee the entire event on the South Lawn, rather than the Washington, D.C. Combat Sports Commission, based on the fact that it is federal property.

The fight card features two main championship bouts: one between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje, and another for the interim heavyweight championship between Brazilian Alex Pereira and Frenchman Cyril Gane.
