According to DAZN’s Chris Mannix:

Jaron “Boots” Ennis may be looking at a fight with current WBO/WBA super welterweight champion Xander Zayas. With talks of his potential superfight against Vergil Ortiz Jr. stalled interminably, preliminary discussions for a fight with Zayas have commenced.

Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez has re-signed with Matchroom Boxing. The plan is for Rodriguez to fight again in June, but the question is at what weight. He will either make a title defense at 115 lbs. or move up to 118. The only belt at 115 not held by Rodriguez is the IBF title. Champion Willibaldo Garcia is scheduled to defend against Andrew Moloney in April. Rodriguez wants the winner of that fight to complete the 115-pound unification sweep.

Former American heavyweight prospect Jared Anderson is in discussions for a co-promotional deal with his original promoter, Top Rank, and Queensberry. The deal would see Anderson fight in the UK.

Former super middleweight title challenger Edgar Berlanga is rumored to be in conversations with Zuffa Boxing. Berlanga had been in talks for a fight with Chris Eubank Jr., but those discussions have fizzled.
