Nicaraguan Boxing Commission Annual Awards

The Nicaraguan Professional Boxing Commission (CONIBOP), presided over by General Molinares and Enrique Armas, Vice Mayor of Managua, held its annual awards ceremony recognizing the best professional boxers of 2025, including promoters, sponsors, referees, and media.
Nicaraguan boxing, like that of other countries such as Panama, Venezuela, Argentina, and Mexico, receives strong support from national, municipal, and state governments for the organization of Olympic and professional boxing events annually.
The charismatic star and female boxer of the year, Eveling “Colocha” Ortega, was not present.

Yanior Vega – Rookie of the Year 2025
Isaac Berrios – Special Recognition
Julio Cabrera – Male Fight of the Year 2025
Roxana Mendoza – Outstanding Fight of the Year
Michael Carmona – Ángel Guevara – Outstanding Fights of the Year
Dr. Carlos Ruiz – Manager of the Year
